HW Festo Nsenga, the Criminal Division Deputy Registrar, explained to the students the court hierarchy and the services offered by courts including adjudication of disputes, interpretation of laws and how the justice chain works.

He highlighted the cases handled at the magistracy, the High Court and the appeals process.

Ms Halimah Kaggwa, the Senior Communications Officer at the Judiciary took them through the different specialized Divisions of the High Court, the administrative set up in the country's Court system as well as the key people in a trial.

After the session, students asked questions in regard to the topics discussed and the same were answered accordingly.

The visit ended with a one-on-one interaction of the teachers and students with the day's facilitators.
